Helping You Shape Your Events

I am an ambitious and passionate event planner dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences. With a foundation built on hands-on experience delivering dynamic student-led projects, my experience blends professionalism with a fresh, vibrant approach.

I specialise in bespoke event planning, working closely with clients to design and deliver events that reflect their unique vision — whether it's a themed fundraiser, private celebration, or community-focused gathering.

What sets me apart is my commitment to authenticity, creativity, and community impact.

This site offers a glimpse into my journey so far — from my first 80s-themed fundraising disco in a transformed church setting, to the development of a growing portfolio of Live events.

Education & Professional Growth:

I’m currently studying a Master’s in International Event Management at The University Of Surrey, where I am deepening my industry knowledge and refining my approach to global event planning, brand strategy, and client collaboration.

This academic foundation supports my goal of becoming a versatile, dependable asset to any event team, capable of jumping into Live environments, working with clients, and helping businesses deliver memorable events that reflect their goals and audience needs.

Vision & Entrepreneurial Goals:

While my immediate goal is to work with event companies, agencies, and venue teams, I’m also driven by a long-term entrepreneurial vision.

I aspire to eventually launch my own venue and event brand, curating a range of inclusive and impactful experiences.

With a business-minded approach, I aim to build something community-focused and artist-friendly, where innovation and inclusivity are at the heart of every event.

Get to Know Me

Hi, I’m Tilly (aka Tinks) — an event promoter, organiser, and booking agent with a strong passion for Live experiences and emerging talent in the music industry. I specialise in bringing people together through creative, professionally executed events, with a focus on grassroots music, community engagement, and high-impact audience experiences.

What I Offer

I’m actively looking to collaborate with established event companies, venues, and creative teams to contribute to the development and delivery of exceptional events.

I bring a well-rounded, hands-on skill set that includes:

  • End-to-end event planning & logistics

  • Artist booking & liaison

  • Budgeting, ticketing & risk management

  • Social media & content strategy

  • On-site operations & team leadership

I thrive in fast-paced environments and am motivated by the opportunity to work on diverse events — from intimate Live music showcases to large-scale festivals and community-driven campaigns. I’m eager to support existing teams, learn from industry professionals, and grow within a company that values creativity, collaboration, and innovation.

Key Experience

My foundation was built through establishing my own student-led Live event company at ACM (Academy of Contemporary Music) in March 2024. ‘Electrical Nights’, a student-led Live music event hosted at The Electric Theatre in Guildford.

As the founder and producer, I oversaw every element — from event design and artist booking to marketing and on-the-day management. This project formed the centrepiece of my university portfolio and led to a successful launch night that drew strong community turnout and provided a platform for up-and-coming musicians.

These events connected bands across local communities, while I simultaneously supported ACM’s internal workshops covering content creation, photography, artist logistics, budgeting, and social strategy.

In addition to university-led projects, I’ve gained extensive festival experience across roles such as Head Stewarding, Stage Management, Bar Staff, and Delegate Registration at events including:

  • The Great Escape Festival (Brighton)

  • Teddy Rocks Festival (Dorset)

  • Foodies Festival

  • Guilfest (Guildford)

Through these roles, I developed a practical understanding of crowd flow, safety protocols, backstage coordination, and guest-facing service — all while working as part of high-pressure, multi-disciplinary teams.

She is held in very high esteem by her peers, tutors and colleagues, and has promoted a run of successful Live events from studio Livestreams to multi-stage festivals with confidence, passion and fantastic leadership."

Matthew Russell ACM University Live Sound Production Lead tutor

"Tilly has grown into a confident and capable Live event organiser, through their leadership, attention to detail, calmness under pressure and ability to bring people together around a shared vision with real empathy and purpose.
Tilly consistently takes initiative, communicates with clarity and warmth, and approaches every challenge with creativity and resilience.
They have a natural ability to lead, not through authority, but through collaboration and trust. Tilly remains grounded, focused, and solution-oriented. It’s been a privilege to watch their journey unfold, and I have every confidence that they will continue to shape meaningful and memorable experiences in their Live events."

Amie Chatterley Head of Education at ACM/Director of Quest Fest

"Tilly has consistently impressed with their professionalism, creativity and ability to deliver high quality events. From student-led showcases to wider community engagement, their events have been well organised, impactful and a testament to their passions for the live industry. I have no doubt they will continue to thrive in the events world."

Ngaire Ruth, music journalist, educator, and author.

"I have worked with Tilly since the start of her degree at ACM, and it has been a pleasure to watch her progression as she took ownership of her modules and extracurricular work with a view to her own career goals.

She has been a prominent member of the school music magazine, which I facilitate, turning around copy on events and news quickly and she ended up running the events with a small team not long after her experience with me in Live Reviews.

Students highly enjoy working alongside Tilly, who always brings her A game and collaborates well, respecting everyone's input.

She has proven to be a good academic student, in the sense of content, planning, presentation and arguments and ideas.

She has developed keen independent research skills in the last year.

As a team player or leader, Tilly would make a valuable contribution in a corporate or independent setting."
